Bookmarks & pins

Save your favorite content for future reference.

Find your favorite content faster

To save you time navigating through different components, Timebook comes with two features that help you jump to your favorite content in an instant:

  • Bookmarks let you track all the objects you frequently use. You can bookmark your favorites and then find them all in one dedicated module. You can also use filters and grouping to change the presentation of bookmarked objects and save these custom views for later use.

  • You can also pin your favorite objects to the Navigator. This way, you can quickly jump to the pinned object using the menu on the left, regardless of where you are in Timebook.

You can bookmark and pin the following object types in Timebook:

  • Documents

  • Wiki pages

  • Projects

  • Sprints

  • Initiatives

  • Roadmaps

Bookmark or pin an object

Timebook objects that you can bookmark have dedicated [Add to Bookmarks] and [Pin to Navigator] icons in the top-right corner of the working area.

After you press one of the icons, its color changes to black. This means you can now find this object in the [Bookmarks] module or that it's pinned to the Navigator.

To remove a bookmark or a pin from an object, press the dedicated icon again. It will change color to white, and we will remove the object from the [Bookmarks] module or unpin it from the Navigator.

Use the Bookmarks module

Use the Navigator on the left to open the [Bookmarks] module. This module is a list of all your bookmarked objects. You can use it for quicker navigation as you press on a tile to jump directly to the bookmarked object.

To access the [Bookmarks] module, press the dedicated tile at the top of the Navigator.

You can also trim the number of bookmarks by pressing the [Remove from Bookmarks] button to the right of an object's name.

For a more personalized view of your bookmarks, use the filtering and grouping options in the [Manage view] section in the top-right corner.

You can also edit and save these custom views. For more information, see Layouts & views
