My Work

Track all the work that's relevant to you in one place.

Shortcuts to important Work Items

We added the [My Work] module to the Navigator so that you can track and manage all the Work Items that are relevant to you. In short, [My Work] is where you can find all the work you created or others assigned to you. This module also has a dedicated tool to help you analyze the time spent on various activities.

We divided the [My Work] module into four tabs. You can find them in the top bar and switch between them to view and manage work and analyze your effort:

  • [Assigned to me] is where you can find all the Work Items for which you are the assignee. It doesn't matter if you assigned them to yourself or if others did it - all such Work Items will land and stay in this tab as long as you remain the assignee.

  • [Created by me] shows all the Work Items you created regardless of their current assignee. This tab helps you track all the work you initiated, see who is working on it, and check the progress.

  • [Watched] is where you can find all the Work Items you decided to follow. You will receive Timebook notifications about all significant changes to all the watched Work Items. For more information on item watching, see Work Item cards

  • [Worklog] is a powerful tool to analyze the time you spend on different activities. Worklog helps you evaluate how efficiently your time is used by calculating the time spent on Meetings and other events. It can also track time spent on Work Items, provided they are scheduled for a specific time. We have dedicated articles that explain the Worklog features. For more information, see Analyze work efficiency

In theory, you could create a Work Item, assign it to yourself, and add it to watched items.

In this case, you would find this Work Item in all three tabs of the [My Work] module.

In [My Work], you can filter the number of Work Items displayed or change their presentation.

We have dedicated articles that explain how to manage data views and layouts in several Timebook modules, including this one. For more information, see Layouts & views
