Reuse templates to manage documentation with less effort.

Templates in Timebook

We designed the Template Center to help you manage your documentation in Timebook. If you reuse a lot of your content or plan to create several similarly-looking , the Template Center will save you a lot of time.

In short, you can use Timebook templates to create a new Document quickly. The main Page of your new Document will look just like the template, but you can modify it later on.

To access the Template Center, use its dedicated icon in the bottom-left corner of the Navigator.


Use templates

The Template Center is where you can reuse existing Pages and create their copies. We divided this module into two main areas:

  • The list on the left shows various standardized templates for typical scenarios, such as meeting minutes or a project status tracker.

  • The main area on the right shows a preview of the template you selected from the list. It also has a description field with information on when and how to use a specific template.

To use a template:

  1. Open the Template Center in the bottom-left corner of the Navigator.

  2. Select the template you want to reuse from the list on the left.

  3. Press [Use template] in the top-right corner of the main area.

  4. Select the in which you want to create the new Document. The template you selected will be used as the main Page of your new Document.

  5. Press [Create] to confirm.
