All the settings for your Pages

Timebook comes with several options that help you manage and customize your Pages. Use them to see who is editing a Page, access comments, or make changes to the visual side of the Page.

You can choose from the following options:

  • Page icon: You can change the Page icon by pressing on the default icon to the left of the Page name. Then, select one of the available emojis or a Timebook system icon. The new icon will be displayed next to the Page name and on the list of Pages in the middle pane.

  • Avatars: In the top-right corner of your working area, you can see a list of avatars. They represent all the people currently viewing or editing the Page. Press on one of the avatars to see that person's contact card and access quick interaction buttons.

  • Comments: Use the dedicated button in the top-right corner to see all comment threads started on this Page in one place. You can view, reply, and edit comments here or delete or resolve a comment thread. For more information on this module, see Comments

  • Settings: We also have a section you can use to modify the appearance of your Page and define what information to present below the Page name. Use the dedicated [Page settings] button in the top-right corner to access the section.

Available Page settings options

To access the options below, press the [Page settings] button in the top-right corner of a Page. These options are grouped under two tabs: [Style] and [Properties].

[Icon]

Use this option to change the icon that shows next to the Page name. You can select the actual icon and its background color.

[Cover image]

With this toggle enabled, you can enhance your Page with a custom image. You can upload a Timebook file here, add an image from your Google Drive, drag and drop a file from your device, or use an image browser powered by Unsplash.

[Page background]

Enable this toggle to give your Page a slightly different design with additional spacing around the edges. You can also select the style and color of the background.

[Full-width view]

This option lets you switch between two views, full and narrow. Use it to adjust the width of the content to your screen size.

[Creation date]

Enable this toggle to show the date when the Page was created. This information will be displayed just below the Page title.

[Created by]

Enable this toggle to show who created the Page. This information will be displayed just below the Page title.

[Modification date]

Enable this toggle to show the date when the Page was last modified. This information will be displayed just below the Page title.

[Modified by]

There are additional options available in the [Meatballs] menu in the top-right corner of each Page.

From here, you can:

  • [Rename] or [Delete] your Page.

  • [Move] your Page to a different Document in the same Team. We will add your Page as the last one in the target Document.

  • Open the [Version history] section to check and restore previously saved versions of your Page. For more information, see Version history
