Opportunity-Solution Trees at the Team level

The Opportunity-Solution Tree (OST) in Timebook is a powerful visual tool designed to explore key Opportunities and link them directly to Projects. It helps you identify potential improvements, connect them with actionable steps, and test your assumptions.

And the [OSTs] tab at the Team level is where you can create and manage all Opportunity-Solution Trees relevant to your Team. By utilizing the Opportunity-Solution Tree feature, your Team can make more informed decisions and find valuable business opportunities.

This tab gives you a combined view of all OSTs in a Team.

OST tab features

The primary function of this tab is to show you the overview of all Opportunity-Solution Trees across your Team. We give you all work-related data, and you can do the following:

  • Create a new OST or view details of the existing ones.

  • Use layouts to change the presentation of the listed OSTs.

  • Use filters to decide how much data you want to see.

  • Use different grouping options to organize the listed OSTs.

  • Save custom views for later use.

Create an OST

In this tab, you can create Opportunity-Solution Trees that all Team members can access and collaborate on.

To create an OST:

  1. Press [Add an OST] in the top-right corner.

  2. Give your new OST a meaningful name and description.

  3. You can also select one of the available statuses for your OST, which vary from [New] to [Done].

  4. You can also choose an assignee and a date range for your OST using the dedicated buttons.

  5. Press [Save] to confirm your selection.

After you create an OST, you can open it and start managing Opportunities and Projects inside it.
