Create a snapshot of time-related data in Timebook.

Reports overview

When using the [Logs] layout in the Worklog module, you can save a snapshot of selected data. This can be useful when creating a detailed report on how time is spent on various activities across your organization.

Timebook's Worklog module has a dedicated drawer that stores all such reports. You can use it to share your report with others or export its data to . Read the rest of this article for more information on creating reports and managing them.


Create a Worklog report

When using the [Logs] layout in the Worklog module, you can see the dedicated [Save report] button in the top-right corner. Use it to create a snapshot of the data that is currently showing in your working area.

The filters available in the Worklog module, including the selected time range, affect the data you see in the working area.

Consider this when creating a Worklog report.

Create a report in the Logs layout
  1. Press the [Layout] button and select [Logs].

  2. Apply the necessary filters to show only the data you want to include in the report.

  3. Press [Save report] in the top-right corner and give your new report a meaningful name.

  4. Press [Save] to confirm. Your new report is now available in the [Reports] section of the Worklog App.


Manage Worklog reports

You can see all your saved reports in a dedicated area of the Worklog module. Press the [Reports] button in the top-right corner to open a drawer with all your Worklog reports.

We show reports in an interactive list; press on a selected report to see its details. You can use various grouping options to view the data in a specific order.
