People module

Find other Workplace members and clients quickly.

This module gives you quick access to contact details of the people you might want to interact with. This includes other members of your Timebook and the clients you do business with.

In short, the People module is where you can interact with your colleagues and business partners.

An overview of the People module in Timebook
Open the People module in the Navigator to find Workplace members and clients.

The middle pane in the People module is divided into tabs, each showing a different group of people and their contact data. Open one of the tabs to see the contacts list, then select a contact to see its card. Each card contains the basic details and additional options depending on the selected tab.

Available tabs in the People module

[Workplace]

This is a list of all the members of your Workplace. It is created automatically and always reflects the current status of the Workplace, so you don't have to add anyone manually.

You can use the following options on each of the contact cards in this tab:

  • [Schedule Meeting] using the standard .

  • Use the [Instant Meeting] option to start a video call with your contact immediately.

  • Use the [Message] option to jump to a conversation with your contact in the .

  • The [Email] option opens your default system email agent.

Note: Each Workplace contact card also has the [Calendar] tab. Use it to view the person's schedule and create a Meeting by pressing anywhere on the calendar grid.


[Clients]

This tab is where you define other organizations that you do business with. Think of it as a list of all the vendors and third parties that you cooperate with on a daily basis.

You can press the [+] button to add more clients to the list. Press the button, provide their contact details, and press [Save] to complete the process.

Once you add a client to the list, you can use the [Add contact] button to create a contact card within that client. This way, you can build a database of the organizations you cooperate with and add contact cards for the people within these organizations.

Note: Clients in Timebook can also be assigned to specific . You can then mark specific Planner content as client-related. This will make it easier to manage data relevant to your client later on.


[Groups]

This is a list of all groups created in your Workplace. You can use Timebook groups to communicate with several people at once.

When you select a group in the middle column, you will see the [About] tab that contains the group’s description and contact details.

There’s also the [Members] tab where you can check who belongs to the group.

You can use two views to display the contents of the People module. Use the toggle at the top to switch between the following views:

  • [Column] for a simple list of contacts that focuses on names,

  • [Tile] for a more visual presentation of contacts that focuses on avatars.
