Manage Teams

Access Team settings, manage members, or change your Team's status.

This section of Workplace Admin is your one place to access and control all aspects of . Teams are the highest-level building blocks in Timebook as they reflect the main structure of your organization.

With Teams, we give you a platform for cross-functional collaboration where all members can work in their preferred way and contribute to shared goals.

To access Team management settings in the Workplace Admin:

  1. Press the dropdown next to the in the top-left corner.

  2. From the resulting menu, select [Workplace Admin].

  3. Open the [Teams] tab. Once there, you can perform one of the actions below.

Manage a Team in your Workplace
  1. Press the [Meatballs] icon to the right of the selected Team.

  2. Select [Manage Team].

  3. You can now change the Team's name or description.

  4. You can keep the Team [Open] and allow all members to access it freely.

  5. Or you can make the Team [Private]. From now on, Workplace members will have to be invited to get access to the Team's content. Remember that a private Team cannot be made open.

  6. Press [Save] to confirm your choices.

Deactivate a Team in your Workplace
  1. Press the [Meatballs] icon to the right of the selected Team.

  2. Select [Deactivate] and confirm your decision.

  3. The Team is now deactivated. Members cannot access deactivated Teams, and their content is "frozen" until the Team is reactivated.

Note: To reactivate a Team, press the [Meatballs] icon next to it and select [Activate]. Members now have the same access to the Team's content as before the deactivation.
