Scheduled Work Items

Schedule your Work Items with less effort, manually or automatically.

Timebook comes with several that you can use across our Planners. But you can also create directly on the grid, and this automatically books time for them in your calendar.

Creating a scheduled Work Item in Timebook
Create and schedule a Work Item in your calendar.
Schedule your Work Items
  1. Press on an empty space on the grid to create a Work Item in the selected time slot.

  2. Select [Work Item] from the list of events.

  3. Name your Work Item, and use additional options if necessary. For more details, see Work Item options

  4. Press anywhere outside the Work Item card to save it. Work Items scheduled in your calendar are marked with a dedicated clipboard icon.

You can also use the Work Item Drawer in your Schedule to drag and drop Work Items directly onto your calendar. The Drawer is there to help you prioritize and schedule existing Work Items, manually or automatically. For more details, see Work Item Drawer

You can also create a Work Item using the [+] button above the grid. However, such Work Items are not scheduled for any particular time.
