Workstream settings

Enable Workstreams to streamline complex project work.

This tab in settings helps you enable Workstreams for your Planner and define how they behave. A in Timebook is a representation of the flow of work, as it helps you track how advanced your are. Use it to simplify project management in complex projects.

Enable Workstreams in a Planner
  1. In the Navigator, select a Planner and press the [Planner settings] icon next to it.

  2. Select the [Workstreams] tab and press the [Enable Workstreams] button in the middle.

  3. Use the settings listed below to customize Workstreams for your Planner.


[First Workstreams starts]

Use this setting to choose whether the initial Workstream should start in the current or the following week.


[Workstream starts on]

Use this setting to select the day of the week that will mark the beginning of the current and upcoming Workstreams.


[Workstream cadence]

Use this setting to define the "repetition cycle" for your Workstreams (in weeks).

This ensures that a new Workstream is automatically created after a specified period and the current Workstream is then considered completed.


[Upcoming Workstreams to create]

Use this setting to decide the number of upcoming Workstreams we will automatically create for your Planner.
