Trash tab

Manage items moved to Trash on the Team level.

Every Timebook has a dedicated location in which you can manage all trashed items. The Trash tab lets regular users restore the content they moved to trash, and this is where can permanently delete items.

This tab contains all the items moved to trash across the Team. Each item is presented as a tile with some basic information to help you identify it quickly. Tiles usually show the name of the trashed item, the it was removed from, and the name of the item's creator.


Manage your Trash

The following actions are available in the Trash tab (hover over a trashed item to see the options):

  • you can [Preview] any of the trashed items,

  • you can [Restore] any of the items that you created or moved to Trash,

  • you can [Delete permanently] any item in the Trash tab if you are the Team's Owner or Admin.

Restore an item from Trash

Every Timebook user can restore an item they deleted or created:

  1. Go to the [Trash] tab of your Team and find the item you want to restore.

  2. Press the [Restore] button to the right of the item's name.

  3. Choose the location (Planner) to which you want to restore the item.

  4. Press [Restore] to confirm your selection.

When you restore a from the Trash tab, all Pages within the Section are also restored.

Permanently delete an item

Team Owners and Admins can permanently delete an item in Trash:

  1. Go to the [Trash] tab of your Team.

  2. Select an item on the list.

  3. Press the [Permanently delete] button to the right of the item's name and confirm your decision on the resulting pop-up.

All items in the Trash tab are automatically removed for good after 30 days.
