Notifications module

Interact with notifications from different Timebook sources.

We created the Notifications module to inform you about various events across Timebook. Meeting reminders and invitations, information about shared objects, or mentions in comments - you can find all that and more in the Notifications module.

With every new notification you receive, the number on the purple counter next to the Notifications module increases. This way, we let you know how many events may require your attention.

Notifications module sections

Notifications are divided into several sections, each dedicated to a different type of notification.

[All]

This section shows notifications from all other sections in a cumulative view.

[Time-sensitive]

This section is mainly for Meeting-related notifications. The most common example here is a reminder about an upcoming Meeting. Time-sensitive notifications are automatically dismissed after their related event starts.

[Requires action]

This section is mainly for invitations you receive. You can use them as shortcuts to accepting or declining invitations.

[Mentions]

When others mention you in comments or directly on Pages, you receive an automatic notification that shows in this section. You can use the notification to jump directly to the related comment.

[Others]

This section is reserved for all other notifications that are mostly informational and may not require your action.

[Snoozed]

You can snooze certain notifications for a selected period so they don't distract you. All currently snoozed notifications can be found in this section.

In the top-right corner of each section, there is the [Dismiss all] button that deletes all the notifications in the current section. Use it carefully, as we can't restore dismissed notifications.

You can also interact with individual notifications. Pressing the notification card takes you to related content, for example, a comment you were mentioned in. Pressing the [Bell] icon in the top-right corner snoozes the notification for a selected period. Pressing the [X] icon dismisses the notification.

Some Timebook notifications also show in the form of a "fly-out" or a "toast message".

You will see them in the top-right corner of your screen for a short period. These notifications give you direct interaction options if you press on them.
