This article, however, explains the features of the [Tags] tab. You can use this tab to track and manage all tags used across a Team.

Track and manage Team tags

The Tags tab in a Team
Manage all the tags used in a Team.

The middle pane of this tab shows a list of all Team tags. Press on a tag to see its details on the right. You can also use the search bar to find a tag by its name.

The right side of this tab is where you can see the details of the selected tag and edit them. The following options are available:

  • rename the tag,

  • delete the tag by pressing the [Trash bin] icon,

  • change the tag's background color,

  • check who created the tag,

  • check how many times the tag has been used across this Team.

Deleted tags will be removed from all objects currently using them, so be careful about deleting other people's tags.

Create Team tags

You can use this tab to create tags that all members of the Team can then reuse.

Creating tags in Timebook
In the Tags tab, you can create tags that others can reuse across the Team.
Create a tag
  1. In the Tag tab, press the [+] button to the right of the search bar.

  2. Give your new tag a meaningful name, and pick a background color for it.

  3. Press [Add tag] to confirm. Your new tag is added to the list on the left.

  4. Others can now attach this tag to objects within the Team.

Creating tags is also possible in several other places in Timebook.

Usually, whenever you can add an existing tag, you can also create a new one just by typing a new name and selecting a background color. So the process is nearly identical to the one explained above.
