The key concept of Timebook is to enable modern Teams to work seamlessly. But we also have a dedicated module that puts you in the spotlight.
In a way, the Personal module reuses other - or -based features. So you can find , , , and other Timebook concepts. But the difference is that the focus here is on you.
The great benefit of the Personal module is that it "travels" with you across different Timebook .
You can be a member of several Workplaces; their contents will differ as you jump between them. But the Personal module will always store your private content, unaffected by moving between Workplaces.
The passage below describes different sections of the Personal module. The information focuses on the slight differences between using similar features in [Personal] and other places in Timebook. We recommend using the links below to learn more about these features in general.
Personal sections in Timebook
In the Navigator, expand [Personal] to access the following sections.
[Goals]
Goals refer to specific and measurable objectives that you aim to achieve. Goals serve as guiding targets, providing direction and purpose to Work Items and projects.
In the context of the Personal module, these are the Goals you set for yourself, as opposed to the Team or Planner ones.
Tasks, stories, jobs, assignments, you name it. In Timebook, we have a collective term for it: Work Items. Our approach to work management centers around them as they are the "to-do" things awaiting your attention.
In the context of the Personal module, these are the Work Items you create for your individual initiatives, as opposed to the Planner Work Items.
This is simply a list of all , including the active, archived, and shared ones. There is an additional pane for easier navigation between Pages.
In the context of the Personal module, Documents store only the Pages you created on your own that are not a part of any Planner. However, you might still want to share some of your private Pages with others.
This is the only section of the Personal module that does not have its equivalent in Teams or Planners. It is meant as a collection for all your quick notes with an added middle pane for easier navigation.
You can still share a note with other Timebook users, but its primary function is to help you write your ideas down quickly. Regarding available features, notes are mini-versions of Pages (but without Timebook Widgets).
This section shows all the files you have added in the Personal module (like images on your private Pages). You can also upload files here that you can later reuse.
You can still share a file with other Timebook users, but the primary function of this section is to help you build private file storage.
