Manage the flow of work in a streamlined view.
A Workstream is a Timebook's way of presenting the flow and progression of work. You can use it to streamline project management in complex projects.
Workstreams are similar to as they help you look at in your preferred context. But they also offer a different perspective - with Workstreams, you can create a "cadence" to manage your work. Cadence is a regular, repeating pattern of time allocated for specific activities.
So, in short, a Workstream is a defined and repeating cycle in which a Team tackles a set of Work Items.
This article describes Workstreams as a concept.
But there is also a dedicated Timebook component to view and manage all Workstreams belonging to one . For more details, see Workstreams (in Planners)
Individual Workstreams also have additional features that you can access using the dedicated buttons in the top-right corner of the working area:
The [Details] button opens a drawer with Workstream notes. This space can be used by Planner members to leave comments or instructions specific to this Workstream.
The [Add to Bookmarks] button adds this Workstream to your favorites. Workstreams marked this way can be found in the Bookmarks module for quick access. For more details, see Bookmarks
The [Statistics] button opens a drawer showing all the numbers behind the Workstream. You can track the completion rate or check the number of Work Items with particular statuses.
Group and filter the contents of the Workstream or apply different layouts. For more details, see Work Item presentation
You can assign Work Items from different Lists to a single Workstream.
